Chandler, Scott, lead Bangor to Northern Division Championship match

BANGOR – Cameron Stadium was buzzing Friday night as the Bangor girls soccer team continued it's perfect season with a 2-0 win over visiting Messalonskee in a Class A Northern Semifinal match to advance to the Regional Championship Match.

Bangor girls soccer advances to semifinal's with 4-1 quarterfinal win

 BANGOR – The No. 1 Bangor Rams found themselves down 1-0 inside the first three minutes of the Class A quarterfinal match against No. 9 Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School of South Paris.

Brunswick ends Bangor boys soccer season with 4-0 quarterfinal win

 BANGOR - The No. 4 Bangor boys soccer team hosted No. 5 Brunswick in a Class A quarterfinal match up Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Cameron Stadium.

Fall Ball from Black Bear North

 HERMON – Local courts are getting a preseason workout as the Black Bear North AAU organization wraps up its Fall League next week with a make up weekend for any teams that have not played all their games.

John Bapst slips past Oceanside in Field Hockey prelim

BANGOR – The No. 7 John Bapst field hockey team hosted No. 10 Oceanside of Rockland in a Class B preliminary matchup Saturday morning at the Union St. Athletic Complex.

Brewer boys soccer stuns Camden Hills in double overtime

 BREWER – The Brewer boys soccer team hosted Camden Hills in their final regular season game with a thrilling 4-3 win over the perennial favorites, in double overtime, on a direct kick.

Hawks speed and athleticism propel 3/4 Parsons to big win over Foxcroft

HERMON - Prior to the start of the game, the talk along the sideline was how much bigger the boys from Foxcroft looked compared to the same aged players from Hermon. Once the game got underway at Pottle Field, on the campus of Hermon High School, the hometown boys answered all the size questions as the athleticism and speed of Hermon led the 3rd/4th grade Parsons Hawks to a 40-6 blow out victory over the Ponies from Foxcroft.

Rams come from behind to capture win on Senior Night

 BANGOR – The Bangor girls soccer team hosted Mt. Blue of Farmington Friday night at Cameron Stadium for Senior Night for the five graduating players who have spent their high school careers helping to make this years team the powerhouse they are. Bangor had to come from behind to pull out the 2-1 win over a very disciplined team.

Hermon romps past Brewer in 7-8 grade Middle School football

HERMON - Wednesday afternoon at the Hermon Rec athletic facility, the 7th/8th grade football team put 40 points on the board as the Hawks cruised past the Brewer Witches 40-12 in middle school action.

Hermon 3/4 Walker falls to Lincoln in youth football action

HERMON - Sunday afternoon at the Hermon Recreation fields, the Hermon 3rd/4th grade Walker team fell to a bigger and stronger Lincoln team 24-7 in a youth football contest.

Bangor girls use new fast turf to their advantage

 BANGOR – Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., history was made as the Bangor High School girls soccer team hosted Brewer High School on the new Cameron Stadium artificial turf for the very first girls soccer match.

Coyotes come from behind for JV girls soccer win over Hermon

HERMON - Saturday afternoon at Pottle Field on the campus of Hermon High School, the Old Town Coyotes came back from a 1-0 deficit to score the final two goals of the game as they nipped the Hermon Hawks 2-1 in JV girls soccer action.
