Skowhegan hand Hampden Academy another 1-0 loss

 HAMPDEN – The Hampden Academy broncos hosted the Skowhegan Riverhawks in another close game, unfortunately for the Broncos, it was another 1-0 loss. The Broncos opened the season with a 1-0 loss to Skowhegan.

Brewer girls soccer gets third consecutive win at expense of River Hawks

 BREWER –  The Brewer girls hosted Skowhegan, Thursday afternoon, at the Brewer Community School field where they picked up their third consecutive win 3-0.

River Hawks blank Rams 10-0 to kick off the field hockey season

 BANGOR – There was no sunshine on the field today as the Skowhegan River Hawks dominated play for four quarters to take home the 10-0 season opener. Skowhegan is always a tough team and this season is no different.

Brewer ends regular season with win over Skowhegan

BREWER – The Brewer varsity boys took on Skowhegan Tuesday evening in the regular-season finale and captured the win 38-34.

Wildman handcuffs Skowhegan bats in Broncos JV Mercy Rule win

Hampden - Wednesday afternoon at Bordick Park on the campus of Hampden Academy, Jaykob Wildman scattered four hits over six innings in a 10-0 Mercy Rule win over the Skowhegan Indians for the Broncos JV baseball team.

One bad quarter gives Skowhegan the win over Oceanside in Augusta - UPDATED

AUGUSTA – The No 10 Oceanside girls traveled to the Augusta Civic Center for a Class A North quarterfinal against No. 2 Skowhegan where they fell 50-41.

Hampden JV girls cruise to opening game victory

The Hampden Academy JV girls basketball had an easy time of things in their season opener at home, as they cruised past Skowhegan Area High School 59-19. Head Coach Bryan Campbell made his high school coaching debut in the game as well.

Lady Broncos fall to Skowhegan to open season

Friday night at Hampden Academy, the Lady Broncos came up a little short falling to Skowhegan 42-38 in a mutual season opener.
