Wickett, Bowden spark Lady Hawks to JV win over MDI

HERMON – Thursday afternoon at the Hawks Nest, the JV girls got the program off to a good start on the day as they defeated the Trojans of MDI 42-35 with a strong second half effort.

Glenburn 7/8 girls cruise past MDI for EMBL win

GLENBURN - Saturday afternoon at the Glenburn School, the 7/8 Chargers girls jumped out to a 12-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 14-4 period and a 41-19 victory over MDI in an Eastern Maine Basketball League travel basketball game.

Crusaders no match for MDI JV boys

At the Cross Insurance Center on Wednesday night, the Mount Desert Island boys JV basketball team dominated the Crusaders of John Bapst Memorial High School with a decisive 57-31 victory.

MDI boys cruise past Crusaders

Wednesday night at the Cross Insurance Center, the John Bapst boys basketball team took an early 4-0 lead until the Trojans of Mount Desert Island went on a 13-2 run to take a 13-6 lead with 3.27 remaining in the first quarter. MDI finished the quarter with a 22-10 lead, and went on to a 74-32 victory over the Crusaders.
