Islanders sweep Coppola in Sunday doubleheader

THOMASTON – The Vinalhaven Islanders continued their dominating play with a sweep of Coppola Sunday in a doubleheader originally scheduled for Saturday, but postponed due to forecasted rain.

HAMPDEN - In the final softball game of the day, Dani Masterson dominated from inside the circle to lead Rawcliffe to a 15-2 victory over Rivertown in a Bronco Little League majors division contest on opening day.

Bronco Little League: Angelos picks up opening day Minors win over Lafayette

HAMPDEN - After falling behind 5-0 in the top half of the first inning, the Angelo's minors softball team battled all the way back to score the winning run in the bottom half of the final inning for a 10-9 win over Lafayette on opening day for the 2017 Bronco Little League season.

Bronco Little League: Glenburn at Sargent Farm Team Softball Opening Day

HAMPDEN - Saturday was Opening Day for Bronco Little League, and the Bronco softball farm team opened the 2017 season with a game against the visiting Glenburn farm team. The two teams played to a 3-3 tie to kick off the season.

Camden Hills girls net third win of season over Gardiner

ROCKPORT – The weather did not play well Wednesday for the Gardiner at Camden Hills girls tennis match, so the games were moved indoors to the Midcoast Recreation Canter and the Windjammers went on to win 5-0 in eight-game pro set matches.
