Bronco Little League holds softball tryouts

HAMPDEN - Sunday morning at The Stable inside Hampden Academy, the Bronco Little League held their tryouts for all softball players aged seven through 12. The two hour session was led by vice president of softball Rick Stymiest, with help from Hampden Academy varsity softball coach Matt Madore and some of his potential players at the high school level.

Glenburn Rec 5th-6th grade boys tournament underway

GLENBURN - Saturday morning at the Glenburn Elementary School, the Glenburn Rec's final tournament week-end got underway with the 5th-6th grade boys. Hermon, Ellsworth, MDI-White, and Holbrook all picked up wins in the four opening games of the eight game day.

Flanagan Community Center girls 5th-6th-grade Invitational tips off tonight

ROCKLAND – The Flanagan Community Center 2018 Girls Invitational basketball tournament will tip off Friday, March 9 with games at 6 and 7:15 pm.

Final Glenburn Rec tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday

GLENBURN - On Saturday, March 10, the Glenburn Rec will be hosting the 5th-6th grade boys basketball tournament at the Glenburn Elementary School. The tournament will be on both Saturday and Sunday, March 11, and is the final of four tournaments which began on February 17.

Gardiner picks up Glenburn Rec 3rd-4th grade boys Championship

GLENBURN - Sunday evening at the Glenburn Elementary School, the Gardiner Tigers captured the Glenburn Rec 3rd-4th grade boys basketball tournament championship with a 28-22 victory over the Caribou Vikings.

Rockland captures 5th-6th-grade boys Flanagan Community Center Invitational Championship

ROCKLAND – The Flanagan Community Center 5th-6th-grade boys invitational basketball tournament was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday cumulating with the championship game between Rockland and Broad Cove Bucs.

Glenburn Rec's 3/4 boys tournament gets underway

GLENBURN - Saturday morning at the Glenburn school, the Glenburn Rec hosted their 3rd/4th grade boys basketball tournament. Participants for the tournament include Gardiner, Glenburn, Hermon Gold, Old Town Rec (Pool A), Bangor, Caribou, Hermon Blue, and Newport (Pool B).

Maine Sports Report basketball tournament coverage

ROCKLAND - BANGOR - Both Maine Sports Report - Bangor and MSR-Midcoast are pleased to announce the basketball tournaments we will be covering during March Madness Month.
