Broncos roll over Hermon 3/4 White for youth football win

HERMON - Sunday morning at the Hermon Recreation field, the Hampden 3/4 football squad proved to be to much for the Hermon White team as the Broncos rolled to a 21-7 victory over the Hawks.

Bisson boots Chargers past Wagner middle school boys soccer

GLENBURN - Thursday afternoon at the Glenburn Community School, Tony Bisson scored two goals to help lead the Chargers to a 3-2 boys soccer win over Samuel L. Wagner middle school of Winterport.

Tardie, Gallop lead Hermon to victory over LMS

HERMON - Monday afternoon in Hermon, Natalie Tardie and Brooke Gallop each scored two goals to lead the Hermon Hawks to a 4-0 win over Leonard Middle School in girls soccer action.

Dunton leads Hermon 3/4 Gold to win over Newport

HERMON - Sunday afternoon at the Hermon Elementary School athletic complex, the 3rd/4th grade Hermon Gold football team continued their hot streak with a 42-0 victory over Newport behind four touchdowns by Griffin Dunton and one each from Ben Jurdak and Tommy Largay.

Crusaders hang on for win over Mt. View girls

ORONO - Early Saturday morning at the University of Maine, the Class B John Bapst Crusaders held off a menacing second half attack by the Class C Mt. View Mustangs for a 4-3 victory in a girls soccer contest.

Red Riots pick up "Gift" win from John Bapst

ORONO - Friday afternoon at Orono High School, the Lady Red Riots hosted the John Bapst girls in the second meeting of the two field hockey teams in the last nine days. On September 11 they played to a double overtime scoreless tie at the University of Maine. On Friday it looked as if a repeat of game one was going to happen, but a "gift" from John Bapst allowed Orono to come away with a 1-0 victory.

Hawks run past Waterville for home opener win

HERMON - Friday night at Pottle Field, the Hermon running game behind juniors Wyatt Gogan (QB) and Zack "The Train" Tubbs (RB) was to much for the Waterville Panthers to handle as the Hawks posted a 54-27 victory in their home opener.

Marsh goal lifts Ponies to season opener victory over Old Town

Camden Hills opens with 3-1 win over rival Bangor

BANGOR – The Bangor girls soccer team hosted defending state Class A champions Camden Hills to open the 2019 soccer season falling 3-1 in a high energy game.

Lewiston picks up come from behind win over Broncos

HAMPDEN - The Hampden Academy boys soccer team opened their 2019 regular season with a tough draw on Thursday night. Facing the 2018 State Class A champion Lewiston Blue Devils, the Broncos forced their opponent to come from behind as Lewiston scored two second half goals to defeat Hampden 2-1 at the Weatherbee Complex.
