The Rams answered 23 seconds later and it was all Bangor for the remainder of the game with the Rams taking the 4-1 win to advance to the semifinals against the winner of the No. 4 Mt. Ararat and No. 5 Messalonskee in a game scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27.

It was a cold and very windy evening at Cameron Stadium when the match started. At 37:47, Oxford Hills Meredith Harthorne took a shot from the right post at the 18 on a perfect pass from Maddie Miller.

Bangor picked up the pace as the match resumed with Bangor's Anna Connors taking a pass from Emilyn Streams about 30 yards out and attacking the goal with a perfectly placed kick past Oxford Hills Maddy Herrick at 37:24, just 23 seconds after Oxford Hills scored. With that goal, Bangor was back in charge.

With 9:31 left in the first half, Samantha Erb gave the Rams the 2-1 lead they would not relinquish. Erb took a pass from Ashley Schultz, brought it up field and drilled it into the net for the goal.  Bangor would take that lead into the second half.

Conners got her second goal to start the scoring in the second half at 36:40 unassisted as she dribbled the ball past two defenders before burying the ball into the goal for the 3-1 lead.

Bangor had one more goal in them at 32:47 of the second half, as Rachel Mathieu charged the goal without the ball and took a crossing pass from Conners that she went up in the air and was able to drive the ball past Oxford Hills, Herrick

The rest of the half was a back and forth game as Bangor picked up its defense and shut down any opportunities for Oxford Hills.

Bangor goes to 15-0 on the season as they advance to the semifinals. Bangor will host this game TBD.

Oxford Hills finishes the season at 6-8-2
