Oceanside boys sweep Belfast on the hardwood

ROCKLAND – The Oceanside boys basketball program hosted Belfast Tuesday evening with three games, freshmen, JV, and varsity with the Mariners taking the win in all three games.

Waterville holds on to upend Oceanside in varsity matchup

ROCKLAND – Sometimes you win games because you are a better team, sometimes you lose games because you play not to lose, occasionally two teams both have off nights and it turns into an exciting game to see who will outlast who. Saturday night was that kind of game as the Purple Panthers built an 8-point halftime lead and then held on for the 45-41 win.

Camden Hills JV strong second half produces the win over Erskine Academy

ROCKPORT – The Camden Hills JV boys basketball team got off to a slow start but put it all behind them at the halftime break and came out to dominate the rest of the game for the 64-42 win over Erskine Academy.

Erskine Academy bests Camden Hills freshmen in barn burner

ROCKPORT – The Camden Hills boys freshmen basketball team hosted Erskine Academy of So. China in a matchup Thursday at Camden Hills.

Oceanside varsity steps up for a Heal Point worthy win over Maranacook

ROCKLAND – The Oceanside varsity squad had to put a stop to the bleeding and did so with some outstanding shooting and intense defense to get the only win of the night over Maranacook 81-62.

Oceanside JV boys fall to Maranacook

ROCKLAND – The second game of the night at Oceanside went the same as the first with the two teams staying close throughout the game until Maranacook put it away in the fourth with a 77-62 win.

Maranacook freshmen finish strong to upend Oceanside

Glenburn struggles at foul line, Wagner girls pull out 31-30 win

Glenburn - The Lady Chargers shot just 11 percent  (1-for-9) from the foul line on Tuesday night, which led directly to a 31-30 win for the Samuel L. Wagner of Winterport middle school girls at the Glenburn School.

GLENBURN - Tuesday afternoon at the Glenburn School, the Chargers held off a late rally by the Samuel L. Wagner of Winterport boys to pull off a 37-35 victory in middle school action.

Hampden boys power past Witches, complete varsity doubleheader sweep

HAMPDEN - Following a Lady Broncos win over Brewer, the Hampden boys had four players score in double figures as they breezed to a 70-36 victory over the Witches to complete the varsity double header at the Stable inside Hampden Academy on Friday night.

Lady Broncos cruise past Brewer for 12th win

HAMPDEN - Inside the Stable on the campus of Hampden Academy Friday night, Bailey Donovan recorded a double double to help the Lady Broncos cruise to a 68-42victory over the Brewer Witches in a Class A North girls contest.

John Bapst girls remain undefeated with win over Hawks

HERMON - The John Bapst girls took advantage of some costly errors by Hermon to come away with a 53-41 win over the Hawks in a Class B North game at Hermon High School on Wednesday night. The Crusaders remain undefeated at 8-0, while Hermon falls to 8-1 with the loss.

Winslow JV girls squeeze out victory over Red Riots

ORONO - Saturday night at Orono High School, Justice Picard scored five of her seven team high game points in the final period to lead the Winslow Black Raiders to a 29-27 victory over the Orono Red Riots in a junior varsity girls game.
