Smith powers Orono "B" girls to victory over Chargers

GLENBURN - Thursday night at Glenburn Middle School, Cloey Smith out scored the Chargers to lead the Orono Red Riots to a 34-20 victory over Glenburn in a girls "B" division game. Smith scored 22 of the Red Riots game points.

Bisson, McMahon lead Glenburn "B" boys to win over Orono

GLENBURN - Tony Bisson and Logan McMahon each scored in double digits to lead the Glenburn Chargers to a 35-29 win over the Orono Red Riots in a "B" Division boys basketball game at Glenburn Middle School on Thirsday afternoon.

Lincoln 3/4 girls overpower Glenburn for victory

GLENBURN - The Lincoln 3/4 girls had no problems picking up a win over Glenburn on Sunday morning, as both Brooklyn Raymond and Addison Cyr scored in double digits to lead Lincoln to a 39-8 victory.

Hews, Haggerty spark Glenburn 3/4 boys come from behind win

GLENBURN - Sunday morning at the Glenburn School, the Glenburn Chargers 3/4 boys rallied back from a 9-point half time deficit to pull out a 37-32 Eastern Maine Basketball League travel game over Ellsworth.

Lincoln 5/6 girls come from behind for EMBL win

GLENBURN - Saturday afternoon at the Glenburn School, the Lincoln 5/6 girls overcame an 11-6 deficit during the third quarter to come from behind for a 17-13 win over the Glenburn Chargers in an Eastern Maine Basketball League travel game.

Orono boys cruise to preseason win over Stearns

ORONO - A dominating defense and balanced offense led the Orono boys to 71-37  victory over the Stearns Minutemen in an Orono High School Hall of Fame Tourney preseason game Saturday morning at Orono High School.

Lady Minutemen hold off Orono girls rally for win

ORONO - Saturday morning at Orono High School, the Lady Minutemen of Stearns High School in Millinocket managed to hold off a late rally by Orono to defeat the Red Riots 51-47 in the opening preseason game of the Orono High School Hall of Fame Tourney.
