Oceanside JV boys fall to Maranacook

ROCKLAND – The second game of the night at Oceanside went the same as the first with the two teams staying close throughout the game until Maranacook put it away in the fourth with a 77-62 win.

The Black Bears led after each quarter, 17-10, 35-26, and 53-44 heading into the final stanza.

Jaden Martin led the Mariners with 18 points; Elliot Lucier 13; Brett Start 11; Nathan Coombs seven; Karl Ilvonen four; Nattapoom Siripanich and Dustin Cote three each; Sam Vose two; and Drew Daggett one. The Mariners were 14-of-20 from the foul line.

For Maranacook, Timmy Worster had 23; Joey Dupont 21; and Elias Bergdahl 12 led the way. The Black Bears were 8-of-14 from the foul line
