Lincoln 5/6 girls come from behind for EMBL win

GLENBURN - Saturday afternoon at the Glenburn School, the Lincoln 5/6 girls overcame an 11-6 deficit during the third quarter to come from behind for a 17-13 win over the Glenburn Chargers in an Eastern Maine Basketball League travel game.

The Chargers led 5-4 heading into halftime, and during the third quarter they took an 11-6 lead. Lincoln mounted a 9-0 run to jump in front 15-11 during the final period, and held on for the four point margin of victory.

Lincoln was led in scoring by Austin with six points and Jipson with four points. Also scoring was Michael with three points, and both Dela and LeBlanc with two points each. (Lincoln coach did not provide players first names).

Glenburn was led in scoring by Mariah Sharrow with seven points. Lauren Hogan added four points, and Molly Simcox chipped in with two points.
