ROCKLAND – The Oceanside Little League baseball regular season is underway and Friday night the weekend got underway at 5:30 with the Lions taking on Fisher.

In the end, after an exciting game, Fisher came out the winner in its season opener 9-4. The Lions fall to 2-2 with the loss.
Fisher will play Elks Saturday, April 29 at 12:30 p.m. in their next game while the Lions are off until Tuesday, May 2 when they will also play the Elks, with a 5:30 first pitch.

Editors Note: League President Jessie Butler will be providing me with rosters with uniform numbers as soon as he receives them from the coaches. Once I have that I will be able to ID the players in the photos.
