Camden Hills girls net third win of season over Gardiner

ROCKPORT – The weather did not play well Wednesday for the Gardiner at Camden Hills girls tennis match, so the games were moved indoors to the Midcoast Recreation Canter and the Windjammers went on to win 5-0 in eight-game pro set matches.

The Windjammers go to 3-0 on the season and will now take their talents on the road for the next four matches with Erskine Academy of So. China on deck for Friday, April 28.

Individual results, with Camden Hills players listed first, in singles, Naomi Landry defeated Kiara Goggin 8-2; Charlotte Messer defeated Sydnie Sirois 8-2; and Kassie Krul defeated Tiffany Chadbourne 8-0.

In doubles, Kelsie Merrill and Sophia Landry defeated Emily Peacock and Lexy Pinkham 8-2; and Claire Pierce and Julia Holt defeated Lexi Nestor and Maddy Walker 8-3.

The talented Windjammers have won their matches 4-1, 4-1 and 5-0 thus far this season.
