WALDOBORO – The Medomak Valley softball and baseball teams hosted Brunswick in preseason matchups between the Class A Dragons and Class B Panthers.

The Panther team members are, juniors, Abigail Nelson, Hallie Kunesh, Josie Jameson, and Gabrielle DePatsy; sophomores, Melayna Benner, Addie Jameson, Aubrey Schaeffer, Lydia Simmons, Cassandra Smeltzer, and Madelyn White; and freshmen, Sadie Cohen, Kayla Donlin, Cheyenne Nash, and Emily Wotton. The team is coached by Richard Vannah. The assistant coach is Lindsey Ranquist, and volunteers are Vanessa Davis and Kyle Santheson.
They kick off the season Wednesday at Thomaston when they take on rival Oceanside at 1 p.m.
BASEBALL

Medomak team members are seniors, Adam Eutsler, Issac Eutsler, Cameron Robinson, Channing Soper, and Patrick White; juniors, Wyatt Post, and Brent Stewart; sophomores, Ryan Creamer, and Wyatt Fillmore; and freshmen, Gabe Allaire, Jordan Powell, Connor Simmons, and Duncan Widdecombe. The coach is Greg Rice, the assistant is Paul Berube along with volunteer Ritchie Oliver.
The boys also start the season Wednesday at 1 pm against Oceanside in Thomaston.
