HAMPDEN – The Bronco Travel Basketball Club 3rd and 4th-grade boys tournament was held this past weekend with the Belfast team taking home the championship trophy. Please message me if any of the spelling of the kids is incorrect. Both the scorekeepers and I did everything we could but when there is not a program with team rosters mistakes always happen. So far only one has been reported.

Neal leads Broncos to thrilling overtime win
HAMPDEN – The Hampden Broncos girls basketball program hosted the Deering Rams of Portland in their final home game of the season which is senior day at Hampden Academy. It took an extra four minutes, but in the end, 7-of-8 shooting from the foul line and a line drive 3-pointer took the Broncos past the Rams 42-38 in overtime.

Brewer girls rally in the fourth to overcome the Windjammers
BREWER – The Brewer girls varsity team hosted Camden Hills of Rockport Tuesday evening and were faced with a hard battle that took an excellent fourth quarter to capture the 61-50 win.

Johnson, Leavitt lead Camden Hills JV Girls over Brewer
BREWER – The Brewer JV girls hosted the opener against visiting Camden Hills of Rockport and were handed a 43-33 loss by the visitors.

Hampden JV girls win a close matchup with Bangor
HAMPDEN – The Hampden girls opened the night with a preview of what was to come, an intense, a well played game from both teams. In the end it was the young Broncos with a 40-39 win in the Stable.
