HERMON – The Hermon travel team of 7/8 grade girls hosted Brewer in a travel contest Sunday at Hermon Middle School.

This game was a back and forth battle from start to finish with Brewer coming away with the 36-34 win. The two teams played to a 15-15 tie at the half time and took the game down to the final few seconds when Brewer scored to capture the victory.
These two teams were very much alike. They were similar in foul shots as well. Hermon went 4-for-12 from the foul line while Brewer was 5-of-13 from the charity stripe.
Scoring for Brewer were, Gabby Chasse with a game high 13 points; Olivia Gilmore 12; Maddie Shaw and Stella Damon four each; and Abbie Flagg and Sarah Snowdeal two each.
For Hermon, Lila Ryan had a team high 11 points; MK Tracy come off the bench with nine; Kassie Webel, Abbie Dubois and Sabree Thomas four each; and Lydia Muth two.
