Hampden's Meaghan Delahanty has been dangerous with the bat as of late and today was no different with a 4-for-4 day at the plate, three doubles, single, two runs and two RBIs. Not a bad day at the plate.
The rest of the offense came from Maya Brown (single, run); Allee Wellman (single); Danielle Masterson (3 singles, 2 runs, RBI), Cam Neal (double, run, walk); Charlee Chute (single, 2 runs, RBI); Callie Small (2 singles, run, RBI); Emily Bishop (RBI); and Brooklyn Fortin (double, single, 3 RBIs).
Masterson got the night off from the circle for Hampden, however, with Charlee Chute in the circle the Broncos had little to worry about. Chute went seven innings allowing four hits, three runs, two earned, with one walk while fanning 11 batters.
At the plate for Hermon, Faith Coombs had (double, run); Lyndsee Reed (home run, run, 2RBIs); Molly Simcox (single, run); Addison Waning (double, RBI).
Reed took the circle going six innings allowing 15 hits, nine runs, six earned, with two walks and five strikeouts.
