Right from the tip off Hampden was in the Red Eddies faces. They are so quick that despite the amount of pressure very few fouls were called except under the basket. The five starters, Lucy Wiles, Bella McLaughlin, Cam Neal, and Lauren Voteur all had steals and or forced turnovers in that 16-0 opening run.

Hampden led the entire game, leading at each quarters end, 25-3, 36-12, and 55-19 heading into the final quarter where the Broncos coasted to another win.

The first quarter offensively spelled the outcome of this game as the Bronco's had three 3-point baskets and were led by McLaughlin with 13 of her game high 21 points. The second quarter was the Bronco's weakest and Edward Littles best as only Neal could get things going providing eight of the teams 11 points that quarter.

The second half was more of the same as the Bronco's were just too much for the Red Eddies on this night as they had a hard time finding the basket and finishing.

Scoring for Hampden Academy were, McLaughlin with 21 points; Neal added 11; Sadie Campbell eight; Emma Haskell and Voteur seven each; Wiles and Taylor Gardner six each; Caitlin Murphy two; and Taya Archer one.

The Broncos were 4-of-6 (67 percent) from the foul line and it rained 3-pointers with nine of them, three from Neal, two each from Gardner and Campbell, and one each from Haskell and McLaughlin.

For Edward Little, Jenny Chabot had a team high 11 points; Layla Facchiano and Nikki Clark had six each; and Erin Cowie added three.
