It was a rough end of the season when the Hawks lost a senior starter, Issac Varney, for the season to an injury. Each game someone stepped up, however, today despite a gallant effort from the Hawks and especially Jaeden Henderson, who left it all on the floor and led the team with 15 points.
Today was Old Town's day. The Coyotes came into the tournament seeded No. 12 and defeated No. 5 Houlton to advance to the quarterfinal, where good team play for 32 minutes ended with a win over No. 4, and now they have their eyes set on No. 1 Caribou who knocked off Mount Desert Island Saturday.
