GLENBURN - Saturday morning at the Glenburn School, the Glenburn Rec kicked off their 3/4 boys basketball tournament with some pool play games. Teams included in the tournament are Caribou, Ellsworth (two teams), host team Glenburn, Hampden, Hermon, Newport, and Old Town Rec.

In the first four games of the day, Old Town Rec managed to squeeze out a 15-14 win over Hermon after giving up a 10-0 first quarter lead; Hampden pulled away from the host team Glenburn in the third quarter on their way to a 33-17 victory; Caribou knocked off Ellsworth Bagley 29-19, and Newport defeated Ellsworth Boles 29-21.
