The Rams got off to a great start outscoring Brewer 16-2 in the first quarter and 10-4 in the second to take a 26-6 lead into the halftime.

Brewer Coach, Tanna Ross, must have had an interesting conversation in the locker room as Brewer put in 13 points in the third quarter but still allowed 17 to Bangor. Leading 43-19 heading into the fourth quarter, Bangor Coach Jay Kemble emptied the bench and coasted to a 49-31 win.

Scoring for Bangor was, Delaney Horr who led all scorers with 16 points including four 3-pointers; Mimi Quinn added 15; Clark and Clara Oldenburg had six each; and Gabby Roy, Emily Adams and Kali Snowden had two each.

The Rams were 7-of-12 (58 percent) from the foul line and Horr's four 3-pointers were all they had.

For Brewer, Allie Flagg led the Witches with 10 points; Jillian Ford added nine; Gabby Roberts five; Abbie Flagg three; and Ainsley Goodwin and Mariah Roberts two each.

The Witches were 4-of-12 (33 percent) from behind the charity stripe. Abbie Flagg, G. Roberts, and Allie Flagg all knocked down one 3-pointer each.

Bangor will next host Windham on Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. while Brewer will travel to Rockport to take on Camden Hills.
