BREWER – The Brewer Travel Basketball Club got its season in the 2021-22 Eastern Maine Basketball League Sunday at Brewer High School with a rock solid 39-6 win over visiting Old Town 5-6.

Games are two 15 minute halves and it did not take long for Brewer to get into the game with some good shooting and tough defense that led to a lot of Old Town turnovers.
Old Town's Britta Hancock had all six of the Black Bears points, two in the first half and four in the second.
Brewer's Marlaina Roberts led all scorers with 14 points. Rylee Bailey had 10, Lilly Clark six, Maddie O'Donnell four, Lyla Blaine and Harper Muncey two each, and Alexis Poland one.
