BREWER – After a long travel ball season, the playoffs are underway for the Eastern Maine Basketball League and Sunday the Glenburn girls 5-6th grade B team slipped past the Brewer girls late in the game for the 41-35 win.

Glenburn led after the first half 16-12 and outscored the young Witches 25-23 in the second half.
This was a back and forth game with both teams holding many leads, as the two teams were very equal in size, speed, and ability.

For Glenburn, Eve Wiles had 11 points; Mallory Lausier 10; Grace Labree and Megan Guy six each; and Emily Caulkins and Abby Folsom four each.
The Chargers were 3-of-9 from the foul line.

For Brewer, Gabby Chasse led all scorers with 13 points; Olivia Gilmore 12; Reece McKenney six; and Sarah Snowdeal and Abbie Flagg two each.
The Witches were 5-of-9 from the foul line.
