With the score going back and forth Bangor tied the game at 5-5 with 6:19 left in the third period which sent the game to overtime where Bangor's Jack Perron found the goal at 1:25 of the overtime for the 6-5 Bangor win.

A physical game, there were a combined 15 penalties for a total of 39 minutes in the penalty box with one player being tossed from the game for game misconduct. This was just what the officials saw. They did a great job, but there was so much taunting from both teams they did not see that got this game a little more physical.
