Glenburn girls breeze past Patriots for first win

The Glenburn girls picked up their first win of the season with a 48-10 dominating victory over the Patriots of Bangor Christian School. Lizzy Jacobs and Marley Sharrow sparked the Chargers with 12 points each.

Glenburn opened the game with a 17-0 first quarter and never looked back. They closed the first half with a 23-2 lead, and entered the final period with a 35-4 lead through three quarters.

Joining Jacobs and Sharrow in scoring for Glenburn was Sadie Campbell with seven points and Emily Watson with four. Kacey Gardner, Chloe LaBree, and Olivia Ronco each scored three points. Megan O'Connor and Christa Rogers each chipped in with two points.

Hannah Sherwood topped the Patriots in scoring with four points. Alexis Colfer scored three, Abigail Baker had two, and Hannah Stillman scored one point.
