Lady Crusaders remain undefeated with victory over Old Town

The John Bapst Lady Crusaders continued their unbeaten streak to start the season with a 45-20 victory over the Old Town Coyotes on Tuesday night at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. The Crusaders remain atop the Class B North standings at 6-0, while Old Town falls to 0-6 on the season.

John Bapst led 10-2 at the end of the first quarter, but the Coyotes were able to keep the game within eight points as the Crusaders led 18-10 at half time. Bapst put the game away with a strong third quarter, out scoring Old Town 16-2 to take a 34-12 lead into the final eight minutes.

Crystal Bell and Gracie Philippon scored nine points each and Madi Higgins added seven points to lead the Crusaders in scoring. Emilee Soucy scored six and Sydney Ellis had four points. Caleigh Lebel and Tianna Cyr each scored three points and Tia Zephir had two points. Abbey Legasse and Emily Mock each chipped in with one point.
