BANGOR – The Bangor girls lacrosse team hosted Lawrence at Cameron Stadium Friday night under the lights. While the very young rams played hard in the end it was Lawrence's game as they took the 7-4 win.

These two teams were totally opposite. Bangor has just nine junior and seniors, they have a robust 15 freshmen and sophomores. Lawrence on the other hand have just nine freshmen and sophomores while having 13 juniors and seniors. Experience prevailed in this match.
This was a fun game to watch. Up and down the field they went in non-stop action. Again Lawrence had the advantage with experience passing and catching that gave them a few more opportunities to score than Bangor was able to produce.
Scoring for Lawrence were, Kaylyn Bourque with four goals; Alicen Higgins two goals and Haylei Niles one. Merel Haighton had an assist.
For Bangor, Sadie D'Alessio, Anya Ganesh, Fallon Eggett, and Laela Martinez had one goal each and Eggett also had an assist.
Hulda Mattsen was in goal for Bangor with six saves. Emily Hersey was in goal for Lawrence where she had eight saves in the win.
Bangor drops to 1-5 on the season and next will visit Brewer today, May 14, at 2 p.m.at Doyle Field in Brewer.
Class B Lawrence goes to 5-0 on the season and will host Messalonskee on May 16.
