Bronco Basketball 5/6 and 7/8 boys are in full swing.

Hampden – The Bronco Travel Basketball Club is putting on its annual tournaments, this being their third of the season and running today and Sunday Feb. 20.

Today I covered the 7/8 boys and got photos of all eight teams in the tourney. Tomorrow depending on the schedule will get as many 5/6 grade games as I can. I hope to be able to at least get the two championship games in.

Game 1 - BRONCOS "A" VS GLENBURN

This game started out fairly even, but the Broncos put it away in the second half.

Final score Broncos 58, Glenburn 33
No first names in book so no high scorer named for this game for either team.

Game 2 - BRONCOS "B" VS BREWER

The Broncos made a nice run at the end but Brewer came away with the win.

Final Score Brewer 46, Broncos 32
High Scorer for Brewer in the win was James Seymour with 16 points, while Ryan McAlpine led the Broncos with 14 points.

Game 3 - WINDJAMMERS VS BANGOR

This was a very good game from both teams, pretty equally matched teams. 

Final Score Windjammers 35, Bangor 32
No names period in the scorebook from either team. 

Game 4 - OCEANSIDE VS HERMON

This was a game of half's, and for Oceanside they picked the second half and kind of ran away with it.

Final Score Oceanside 58, Hermon 45
High Scorer for Oceanside was Jackson Kay with 26 points, and Conner Kelley had 14 for Hermon.
