This one was a Brewer game all the way as they outscored the young Broncos 24-9 in the first half and 19-4 in the second.
The Brewer team is a strong team of mostly fifth graders who play well together. Hampden is also a young team, but the experience they are getting is a great opportunity to grow and improve. They play hard and they never give up, something we don't always see from older players. Both teams were quite impressive in how they played the game.
Scoring for Brewer were, Marlina Roberts with a game high 12 points; Maddie O'Donnell added 10; Rylee Bailey seven; Maggie Robichaud, Lily Clarke, and Alexis Poland four each; and Harper Muncey two.
For Hampden, Liza Dunham and Mia Reed had four each; Abrey White three; and Stella Gregor two.
HAMDEN-----9----4----13
BREWER-----24---19---43
