Balanced scoring leads Hermon girls "B" team to home win over Brewer

 HERMON – The Hermon girls Middle School hosted the Witches of Brewer Community School Monday afternoon and sent the Brewer "B" team home with a 39-24 loss to start the week.

Brewer led after the first quarter,  7-6, however Hermon led the rest of the way, 17-9 at the half, and 27-14 after three and sailed through the final eight minutes for the win.

Maddie Muth led the Hawks with 11 points; Mya Lancaster and Maddie Frost added eight each; Deijah Grant six; and Peyton Allen, Delaney Rice, and Gabby Wilson two each!! 

Hermon was 3-of-11 (27 percent) from the foul line.

For Brewer it was Rylee Bailey with a game high 17 points; Alexis Poland added six; and Ella Glass one. 

The Witches were 4-of-15 (27 percent) from the charity stripe.
