HAMPDEN – The Hampden 7/8 boys A travel team hosted Bangor 7/8 A at Reeds Brook School in Hampden Sunday afternoon taking home a 39-32 win over the Rams.

The Bangor boys had a distinct height advantage, however the outside shooting of the Hampden boys equalized that disadvantage. This was a tight game all the way with neither team able to build more than a 4-5 point lead most of the game.
Scoring for Hampden were, Liam Hennaghen with 14 points; Sawyer Worcester seven; Zuby Toms five; Spencer Martin and Josh Sirios four each; Mason Smaley three; and Owen Busic two.
For Bangor Harry Fitzpatrick led the Rams with 11 points; Liam Vigue seven; Lucas Rutherford and Daniel Tart five each; and Parker Neely and Will Houghton two each.
