BREWER – The Brewer Travel Club is hosting the 7th-8th-grade boys and girls basketball tournament this weekend with the final games including boys and girls championships Sunday.

Saturday Maine Sports report photographed five games and all of the galleries from those games can be found at the link below.
Boys teams are Brewer, Bangor, Hermon, Calais, Skowhegan, and Ellsworth. The girls teams are Brewer, Bangor, Old Town, Hampden, Nokomis, Calais, Hermon, and Ellsworth.

In boys action for the games covered, Brewer defeated Calais 46-35, and Ellsworth beat Hermon 67-17.
For the girls, Ellsworth defeated Nokomis 44-33, Old Town defeated Bangor 41-23, and Brewer beat Calais 35-13.
The Boys championship game is at 6 p.m. and the Girls at 7:15 p.m. at Brewer High School and there are games going on all day Sunday.
