Old Town Recreation's Emerson, Evans led team to romp of Brewer in EMBL action

BREWER – The Old Town Rec 7-8th Grade girls "A" team took on Brewer's 7-8th girls "A" team Sunday at Brewer High School and traveled home on the back of a 53-17 win.

Old Town was led by Makayla Emerson with 17 points; Saige Evans added 16; Lexi DeGrasse, nine; Danica Brown, five; Haylie Madden, four; and Taylor Madden, two. 

Old Town was 5-of-7 (71 percent) from the foul line and they sank six 3-point baskets, three from Emmerson, and one each from, DeGrasse, Evans, and Brown.

For Brewer, Lauren Voteur had four points; Allie Flagg, Hannah Snowdeal, Madison Cote; Delany Horr; Jayden Schoppee, and Lindsey Pine, two each; and Mariah Roberts, one.

The Brewer girls were 4-of-8 (50 percent) from the charity stripe and they had one 3-pointer from Voteur.
