Bangor boys slip past Brewer in 5th-6th matchup

BREWER – The classic rivalry between two teams extends to teams even this young. Bangor 5th-6th "B" boys downed Brewer 5th-6th "B" 27-21 in a game from the Eastern Maine Basketball League held at Brewer High School Sunday.

Bangor took a 15-11 first-half lead and increased it to the 27-21 win in the second half.

Scoring for Bangor was, Zach Estay with a team-high nine points; Garrett King, six; Owen Glanville-True, four; and Sully Parizo, Kooper Dionne, Teddy Stephenson, and Kasey Branson, two each.

For Brewer, Brady Tiensivu had a game-high 11 points; Jack Robertson and Ollie Higgins, four each; and Kooper Harvey two.
