TENANTS HARBOR – In the second game of the day at St. George school the Dragon girls hosted Woolwich in a Small School Busline League semifinal matchup with St. George taking the 38-23 win.

The No. 1 St. George girls will now host No. 2 Nobleboro Wednesday, Jan. 18 for the South Division Championship. The winner of that game will play the North division winner Friday, Jan. 20 at Wiscasset with games at 5 and 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday St. George took a 14-6 first quarter lead and extended that to a 22-8 halftime lead. The Dragons added to the lead by five points in the third quarter giving St. George a 30-11 lead heading into the final quarter where they cruised to a win.

Scoring for St. George was Grace Cody with a game-high 12 points; Seanna Montgomery 11; Leah Cushman eight; Jordan Beal, Sophie Vigue and Noelle Delano two each; and Grace Young one.
The Lady Dragons were 8-of-20 (40 percent) from the foul line.

For Woolwich, Katie Card had six points; C. Fisher and Gillian Orff five each; Mary La Rochelle, Hannah Bailey and Taylor Rumery two each; and Kaylee Cheamen one.
Woolwich was 3-of-13 (23 percent) from the foul line.
