Tuesday night the Medomak Valley JV and varsity boys teams were back on the court after a quick holiday break to host Brunswick to a Class A matchup in Waldoboro.

The junior varsity started out hot, but the Dragons were not about to just give it up. Medomak took a 16-10 first quarter lead and built it to a 28-19 halftime lead. Brunswick came screaming back in the third quarter outshooting the Panthers 15-9 to cut Medomak's lead to 37-34 heading into the final stanza where Medomak was able to hold on for the win.
Medomak was able to shoot 5-of-8 from the foul line in the fourth quarter while keeping Brunswick off the charity stripe.

Scoring for Medomak was, Gabe Allaire with a game-high 18 points; Ryan Creamer eight; Chris Bowman seven; Alec Coughlin, Ethan Spear and Nathan Emerson four each; Ben Deaver two; and Josh Goldrup one. The Panthers were 18-of-29 (62 percent) from the foul line.
Leading the Dragons were Noah Cox with 11 points; Fynn Mitchell 10; and Sam Sharpe seven. The Dragons were 6-of-11 (55 percent) from the foul line.
