Glenburn 7/8 girls cruise past MDI for EMBL win

GLENBURN - Saturday afternoon at the Glenburn School, the 7/8 Chargers girls jumped out to a 12-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 14-4 period and a 41-19 victory over MDI in an Eastern Maine Basketball League travel basketball game.

Glenburn led the entire way with a 21-6 half time score, and a 27-14 lead after three quarters.

The Chargers were led in scoring by Lucy Wiles with 15 points, Emma Westrich with nine points, and Bri Harris with five points. (MDI did not provide first and last names)
