Red Riots fall to Calais in boys summer league tournament game

ORONO - Sunday morning in Orono, the Calais Blue Devils took a six point first half lead and held on the rest of the way for a 41-35 victory over the Orono Red Riots in a summer league tournament game at Orono High School.

Calais led by 10 points (31-21) with 13 minutes remaining in the game. Orono was able to get as close as within two points at 37-35 after a Connor Robertson basket, but Calais would run out the clock with four unanswered points for the six point win.

Orono will resume their regular summer league game on Monday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 12.
